🐾 Luna

Blue & White Border Collie
Health Tested | DNA Profiled
Luna is deeply affectionate and loyal — a beautiful balance of intuition, nurture, and quiet strength within our Scenic Collies family.
🐶 Temperment
Luna loves intensely and thrives on closeness. Much like Teddy, she enjoys being in your personal space, always seeking connection and happily returning affection just as strongly.
She is emotionally intuitive like Rosie and bonds very deeply with her people. Luna and Rosie occasionally clash, largely because they both consider the same human “theirs,” which reflects how strongly she attaches.
Inside the home, she has an excellent off-switch and settles calmly with the family. Outdoors, she is agile and compact like Rosie, quick on her feet and confident in her movements.
Her maternal instincts are exceptional. Even before she was a year old, she would help Evie with her litter — gently cleaning the puppies while they fed and remaining close by. During vet visits, when Evie felt unwell from car sickness, Luna attentively watched over the puppies and then returned to check on Evie, softly licking her as if offering reassurance. The vet initially assumed Luna was the mother because of how devoted she was to the litter.
She loves water and swimming, is protective of her family, and carries a rare combination of affection, intuition, and nurture.

• Heterozygosity Score: 0.341 (34.1%)
• Inbreeding Level: 34.10%
This sits comfortably within breed norms and reflects healthy genetic variation within her lineage
Genetic diversity is considered when planning pairings to support long-term health, resilience, and breed vitality.
Approved veterinary sample collection.
What Is Genetic Diversity?
Genetic diversity (heterozygosity) measures the variation within a dog’s DNA compared to others in the breed.
Higher heterozygosity generally indicates greater genetic variation, which can support overall resilience and long-term breed health.
While no single number determines breeding suitability, diversity is considered alongside health testing, temperament, structure, and pedigree when planning responsible pairings.
